PFAS transition in catheter technology involves material performance, manufacturing choices and different development pathways. Explaining the subject requires a coherent structure without losing the technical distinctions.
02 My contribution
I worked on the technical narrative and content, drawing on interviews with Optinova's technical and business specialists. The project connected expert input with the needs of medical-device stakeholders.
03 The reference material
The 2026 technical brief, A Strategic Approach to PFAS in Advanced Catheter Technologies, presents three pathways: responsible fluoropolymer continuity, next-generation PFAS-free innovation and low-PFAS transitional solutions.
